Return Policy
Returns/exchanges can be necessary and we will do our best to meet reasonable expectations when these situations arise. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase please allow us to assist you with your order. We deal with returns on a per item basis. If you wish to make a return please contact us to discuss the matter first before sending back your items. We do not cover shipping costs for returns/exchanges.
All returned merchandise, which is not defective, will be assessed a 20% restocking fee unless the item was sold as non-returnable or special order.
No returns or exchanges after 30 days.
We do not accept items to be exchanged that were already previously exchanged.
All sales are final outside the U.S
Please Note: Tools and Tool Parts are not returnable unless defective, at which time they will be exchanged or repaired only.
Shipping costs to return items to TheLeadingRivetSource.com are the customer's sole expense, with the exception of the exceptions listed below (orders with errors). Shipping costs are non-refundable.
PRODUCT CONDITION & TERMS FOR RETURNS: Products must be in the original unopened packaging, unused, undamaged and in salable condition. Any opened products are considered used and non-returnable. Any damage to the product's original packaging will result in the product being considered used. Any used products will not be accepted as returns and refunds will not be issued. Returns totaling $1000.00 or more will be issued as store credit only.
* We cannot accept responsibility for uninsured packages returned through the US Postal Service.
* Shipping rates for packaging, insurance, and delivery are not reimbursable.
* The actual cost of shipping will be charged back to you as part of the credit. The flat-rate fee of $14.95 will not apply.
Note: Do not send the item(s) back without the proper return address which will be provided with your RMA#. All items must be returned to the originating warehouse. Items sent back to the wrong warehouse will be refused by the receiver and no credit will be issued.
Special Orders:
Special orders (custom RFQs) cannot be cancelled or modified after a special order has been placed with our office. Special orders must be paid in full at the time order is placed. Payments for special orders are not refundable or subject to any discounts offers.
*The Return Policy terms and conditions are subject to change and review by Management at any time and in the case of suspected abuse.
Orders with Errors:
Please contact us to report the error and send a picture of the product that you received in the original packaging - as well as a picture of the packing slip. Contact must be made within 5 days of order receipt to proceed with the return process. We will share these pictures and feedback with our Warehouse and Quality Control Manager. If the product you received is incorrect there is no restocking fee charge, and you will be refunded for the cost of your order and of standard USPS shipping you pay to send the product back to us (we do not reimburse for optional insurance and other shipping premium offerings). Any opened products are considered used. Any damage to the product's original packaging will result in the product being considered used. Any used products will not be accepted as returns and refunds will not be issued.
